Kevin’s father Rex was a plasterer for 40 odd years, and he has taken this life-long passion with him into retirement. Each outdoor sculpture is lovingly hand crafted, honed to a brilliant and smooth exterior, and finished with Paua shell inserts and weather sealant so that it will last in your garden for years. Each sculpture has mounting tabs on the bottom so that it can be secured to the ground to ensure it doesn’t blow over or go walking anywhere.
One of the most popular shapes is the Matau, or fish hook – stylized to look like bone or greenstone, with natural fibre hemp rope twining through, and sometimes adorned with paua.
